About Us
A retreat that feels
like coming home
Pineland Retreat is a small, thoughtfully maintained lodging property on 38 Shore Road in Standish, Maine — a town where the pace is slower and the skies are wide open.
We opened our doors to offer travelers a simple, honest alternative to chain hotels: clean rooms, genuine hospitality, and a setting that lets you actually hear yourself think. Whether you're passing through on Route 302 or planning a weekend by Sebago Lake, we're here to make your stay comfortable and uneventful in the best possible way.
Our grounds are shaded by mature pines, and in warmer months the nearby lake is only a short drive away. In winter, the quiet stretches of snow make this a perfect base for cross-country skiing or a slow, reflective getaway.
